D2 Shot Put

Tess Keyzers [right] a junior from Little Chute launched the shot put 47' 03 to win the Gold Medal. She also established a new record in that event as she bettered the 2001 record throw of 45' 01 by Amanda Nechuta from Mosinee. Katie Taylor [above right] from Hayward won the Silver Medal while Brooke Kary [above left] from Kettle Moraine Lutheran won the Bronze Medal.

Coach Blahnik and his family have helped write the track tradition history of Wisconsin. His son Zach and daughter Kennedy were State Champions in the throw events.

Dean has been a great help to the Honor Roll website over the years. His information and photos have played a major part in the websites goal of promoting track and field in Wisconsin.

Baraboo's Josie Schaefer had a best throw of 162' 00 to win the Gold Medal in the discus event. The Silver Medal went to Sam Noennig [above right] from Hartford Union and the Bronze Medal to Holly Houston [above left] from Madison Memorialf

D3 Shot Put

Mercer junior Sydney Thompson [right] had a best throw of 44' 01 to win the D3 Shot Put Gold Medal. Ozaukee sophomore Emma Richards [above right] won the Silver Medal while Menomonie Indian High School senior Ania Smith [above left] took the Bronze Medal.

Emma Richards [right] a sophomore from Ozaukee had a best throw of 144' 09 to win the D3 Gold Medal. Sydney thompson [above right] from Mercer was second while Ania Smith [above left] from Menomonie Indian HS was third.

Above Discus Medalists L-R: Katie Taylor [Hayward, 4th], Trevonna Rave [Black River Falls, 5th], and ME Dodge [East Troy, 6th]. 'ME' or Mary Ellen Dodge will play volleyball for the University of Wisconsin next year. ME's mother Linda is the high jump coach for East Troy. ME's grandmother is also Mary Ellen.


D1 Shot Put

Ashwaubenon junior Erin Dunning [right] had a best throw of 46' 02.50 to win the D1 Gold Medal in the SP event. Teammate Kris Lindow [above left] won the Silver Medal while West Allis Central thrower Ella Schultz [above right] won the Silver Medal.

Above Discus Medalists L-R: Erin Dunning [Ashwaubenon, 4th], Kris Lindow [Ashwaubenon [5th], and Kelsey Judge [Baraboo, 6th]. Schaefer and Judge are both juniors at Baraboo HS. They along with Baraboo junior Alison Krug were part of a Baraboo relay team that set a new modern day record in the discus event for the 'Odd Relay' listings.
