Bridget Murphy has signed a National Letter of Intent to compete in track at Indiana State University. The Sycamores are coached by Angela Martin. Murphy will be joining a team that is coached by Angela Martin who is a former Wisconsin State Champion and Seymour student and athlete.
Angela [Angie Bruecker, Seymour 1997] Martin was a star at Seymour high school and later at Indiana State University. Bruecker holds the All-Division record in the 300m LH and is #2 on the Top 50 All-Time List in the 300m LH.
2010: Bay Conference Meet - Champion in the 800m run and 3rd in PV.
2011: Bay Conference Meet - Champion in the 400m dash and 800m run, and 3rd in PV.
2012: Bay Conference Meet - Champion in the 400m dash and 800m run, and 3rd in PV.
2010 WIAA State Meet Championships: 18th in D1 800m run, runner on 5th place D1 4x4 and runner on 7th place D1 4x8.
2011 WIAA State Meet Championships: 4th in D1 800m run.
2012 WIAA State Meet Championships: Bronze Medal in D1 800m run. Seymour is a D2 school for 2013.
