2015 Big 8 Conference Meet

Friday, May 15, 2015 at Verona Area HS. Results
Big '8' conference schools Beloit Memorial, Janesville Craig, Janesville Parker, Madison East, Madison La Follette, Madison Memorial, Madison West, Middleton, and Sun Prairie competed at Curtis Jones Field on the campus of host school Verona Area. In an exciting finish the meet came down to the last event as Sun Prairie won the 4x4 to edge Beloit 149.5 to 145 for the team title.

Above: Janesville Craig's Ann Ewing set the Big 8 HJ record of 5' 08 in 1979. Sun Prairie's Tierney Lindner broke that long standing record by soaring 5' 10 to establish a new Big 8 record in the HJ.
Lindner's leap also broke a facility record.
Verona's Eva Greenwalt had jumped 5' 08 in 2008 to establish a Curtis Jones Field record in the HJ.
Second place in the HJ went to Beloit's Raeven Peek [far left, 5' 04].
