D3 Long Jump

Nicole Mikula a senior from Shell Lake HS had a weekend to remember. She won three WIAA Championships: The 100m and 200m dash events, and the LJ with a distance of 18' 04.75.

D3 Pole Vault

2016 Champion Johanna Ellefson [Right and above on a successfult vault] a senior from Spencer defended her title with a 11' 00 vault.

The Silver Medal was won by Gabriella Janke [above right, Athens, 10' 09] while Daisy Campbell [above left] from Three Lakes/Phelps placed third.

PV athletes below L-R: Nellie Soda [Princeton/Green Lake, 7th], Elizabeth McClure [Algoma, 6th], Sadie Koelz [Webster, 5th], and Demi Ploor [Sevastopol, 4th]. Ploor cleared 10' 06 while 5th -7th places all cleared 10' 00.

D1 High Jump

Kimberly junior Emily Scott who won the 2016 WIAA D2 HJ [Lakeland] cleared 5' 08 to win the 2017 D1 Gold Medal in the HJ. Scott is shown on approach and clearing 5' 06 in the photos above.

D3 Triple Jump

Senior Mikayla Brouette [right] who competes for the Bulldogs of Pardeeville HS had her best jump of 37' 09.25 on her 2nd try in the finals to win the Gold Medal in the TJ event.

Ashlie Lockington from Bangor won the Silver Medal while Dakota Hutzler from Rio took home the Bronze Medal.

D3 High Jump

Junior Elizabeth McClure [right] from Algoma cleared 5' 06 to win the Gold Medal in the HJ event.

Reanne Kietlinski [above right] from Gresham/Bowler was 2nd [5' 04] while Catholic Central's Elizabeth Klein [Above left, 5' 02] took third.

High jump athletes below L-R: Hannah Zastrow [Spencer, 4th], Rachel Ohde [McDonell Central, 5th] and Katie Stegman [Suring, 6th].

Fourth through sixth place all cleared 5' 02.


D2 Long Jump

Hayward senior Gabby Snider's first jump in trials of 18' 06.50 held up and she won the Gold Medal in the LJ event.

D2 Triple Jump

Senior Kyra Arendt [right] from Bloomer won the TJ event for the third year in a row. She saved the best for her last State Meet. She not only set a D2 State WIAA Record she climbed to the top of the Top 50 All-Time list for the triple jump [lists will be updated by the end of July, 2017]. Arendt soared 40' 08.25 for the win and record. The old All-Time record was set by Mikayla Robertson. Hillary Hyland set the old D2 record of 38' 04 in 1997.

D2 High Jump

Altoona junior Mariah Hoepner [above left and above right] cleared 5' 05 to win the HJ event. Also clearing 5' 05 were Brianna Beining [Wrightstown, 2nd] and Monroe's Jordan Hirsbrunner [3rd].

D2 Pole Vault

Wrightstown senior Brielle Buechler [right] won the PV Gold medal.

Buechler is shown above clearing 11' 00 on her way to a best vault of 11' 09.

PV athletes L-R: Danielle Schilling [Lakeside Lutheran, 4th], Caroline Gearin [Osceola, 5th], and Gabrielle Kennedy [St. Thomas More, 6th]. Schilling cleared 11' 00 while Gearin, Kennedy, Kimi Robertson [Antigo, 7th], and Kayla Mielke [Freedom, 8th] vaulted 10' 06.



D1 Long Jump

Waukesha South junior Armoni Brown had her best jump of 19' 08.50 on her last jump in the finals.

That jump tied the D1 LJ record set by Jade Nolan at the 2015 State Meet. Wisconsin.




D1 Triple Jump

Beloit Memorial senior Eva Laun-Smith had her best TJ on her 2nd jump in trials.

That jump of 39' 10.50 won her the Gold Medal in the TJ.

D1 Pole Vault

Left: Dailey Albino on approach and after clearing 12' 06. Albino from New Berlin West took the Gold Medal. Hamilton's Rachel Seraphine also cleared 12' 06 [jump shown is 12' 03] but had one miss at 12' 06. Albino put suspense into her win when she missed twice at 12' 00. Albino's sister Rayce was the D1 PV Champion in 2013 and 2015.
