Albany, Belleville, Benton-Scales Mound-Shullsburg, Cambridge, Columbus, Columbus Catholic, Darlington, Kewaskum, Lake Mills, Madison Tri-Op (ALCS/MCDS/SAA), Marshall, Omro, Pardeeville, Princeton-Green Lake, Randolph/Cambria-Friesland, Rio, Shorewood, Wayland Academy, and Wisconsin Heights competed at host Deerfield. Lake Mills and Columbus tied for first with 71 points closely followed by Benton-Scales Mound, Shullsburg, and Rio. BSMS athlete Emma Lawrence had a huge night winning the 100m HH, 300m LH, 200m dash and triple jump events. One record was set by Princeton-Green Lake vaulter Nellie Soda who cleared 10' 00 to break the record of 9' 08 previously set by Deerfield's McKenzie Jolicoeur in 2014.

The Deerfield Classic highlighted the newly remodeled athletic area and field named after long time Deerfield coach and athletic director John Polzin. An overflow crowd watched the meet in ideal weather. The new facilities included outstanding stadium seating and refreshment areas.
