At the 2021 Conference Meet in the 100m finals Chippewa Fall's dash athlete Brooklyn Sandvig posted a 12.14 to set a BRC Record. In the 2022 BRC 100m finals Sandvig rocketed to a 11.63 to set a new Conference Record and establish a new Top 50 time for her in the 100m dash event. Runners in the finals above L-R: Becca Fentress [ECM, 3rd, 12.74], Angie Binderman [NR, 5th], Champion Brooklyn Sandvig, and 2nd place finisher Rebecca Randleman [RF, 12.60]. Later in the meet Sandvig blazed to a time of 23.97 to not only win the 200 but to establish a new BRC Record in the 200m dash. The old record that Sandvig set in 2021 was 25.07. Sandvig's previous Top 50 times were 11.94 HHT [McDonell Outdoor Meet 2022] and 24.44 HHT [McDonell Outdoor Meet 2022]. | ||

Katie Kopin from River Falls had set the old record of 57.91 in 1998 which Sandvig broke with a 55.70 at the 2021 BRC Meet. Sandvig's time betters her previous 400m Top 50 performance of 55.32 set at the Willard Hanson Invitational at La Crosse Central on May 5, 2022. | ||

Chippewa Falls junior Brooklyn Sandvig on her 2nd jump in final's soared 19' 05.50 to establish a new BRC Record. The middle and right photo above show her winning/record jump. Her jump improves her former Top 50 distance of 19' 02.75 set in 2021 at the Rice Lake Invitational. | ||
