Each of the three sessions at the 2019 WIAA State Track and Field Meet began with the presentation of colors by the UW -La Crosse ROTC. At the finals on Saturday Onalaska High School student Rachel Schenecker led the large crowd in the singing of the National Anthem. The team races were very competitive. In D1 61 teams scored points, in D2 63 teams recorded points, while in D3 66 teams had athletes who scored at the two day meet. Over 2,500 athletes competed at the meet.
