100m finals L-R: Winner Steffi Siewert [13.08], Camden Perry, Brehanna Cohen, Aspen Linjer, Emily Fink, Miranda Firari, and Cashton's Braylee Hyatt. The Thursday D3 and Friday D2 sessions of the meet were rain free. However that changed in a big way for the Saturday D1 portion of the three day WIAA State Track and Field meet.

Heavy rains challenged athletes in all events. In the 100m dash Wauwatosa East's Jetta Mays left no doubt as to who would win. She posted a 11.86 to win the Gold Medal. With a driving rainstorm in their face Waunakee's Sarah Bova [#5]and Chloe Larsen [#4] and Chippewa Falls Brooklyn Sandvig [#5] race to the finish line. Sandvig [58.57] was first followed by Bova [58.59] and Larsen [58.64].
