February 22, Top 50 All-Time Athlete Lists By Paul Tilleman
New Additions To The Top 50 Lists Oconomowoc senior Kylie Finger [above] and Shorewood sophomore Delea Martins are the newest members of the Top 50 Athletes of All-Time in Wisconsin Girls high school track and field. Finger posted a 4:57.33 in the 1600m run event at the Chicago Youth United Performance Invatational on February 20 while Martins dashed to a time of 24.71 in the 200m event on February 5 at the Morolake Akinosun Elite Meet in Chicago. Also a 2020 performance in the 400m dash by Roisin Willis at the Iowa Distance Carnival in June of 2020 has been added to the Top 50 lists. February 20, CYUP Misfits Invitational in Chicago
Roisin Willis Posts #2 US All-Time 1000m Stevens Point Area Senior High junior Roisin Willis posted the #2 All-Time USA High School girls 1000m time at the CYUP Misfits Invitational held in Chicago on Saturday, February 20. Her time of 2:41.53 is also the best time for 2021 high school runners as of February 20. Go to SUMMARY for a quick look at Roisin Willis latest head turning performance. Go to Interview at CYUP. Her time was a USA #1 All-Time record for HS junior class. In previous action on Jauuary 17th Roisin Willis teamed up with runners from Texas, Maryland, and Rhode Island to break the World U-20 4x8 record held by Jamaica's Vere Tech. February 20, CYUP Misfits Invitational Results From Chicago
Tosa East's Jetta Mays Wins 60m At CYUP In the early preseason rankings for the 60m dash Wauwatosa East senior Jetta Mays continues to lead the preseason 60m list. She posted a 7.76 in the finals [7.72 prelims] at the Chicago Youth United Performance Misfits Invitational to finish ahead of Delea Martins [Shorewood] and Lola Kolawole [Whitefish Bay]. Also competing at Chicago were Delanie McFadden from Ozaukee, Maia Mays [Wauwatosa East], Korynne Moga [Homestead], Peyton Weiss [Milwaukee King], Kylie Finger [Oconomowoc], and Audrey Amaya and Roselyn Pacheco from Racine Case. Delea Martins won the 300m dash event in 39.51 which would put her among the Top 10 high school girls in that event as of February 20. |

February 14, DSHA Athletes Compete At The Next Level
Dasher Athletes Excel At Next Level Two former Divine Savior Holy Angels athletes have continued their success at the next level. Kiley Robbins [above] set the UW-Wisconsin 60m dash record on February 6th. Jadin O'Brien who now competes at Notre Dame University won the Pentathlon event at the South Carolina Invite on February 5th. Both Kiley Robbins and Jadin O'Brien are 2020 graduates of Divine Savior Holy Angels where they excelled for Coach Jack Lo Presti's Dashers track and field team. ![]() February 1, Wisconsin Track Online Preseason Results
Delea Martins Adds Up The Miles With the preseason indoor season in Wisconsin almost nonexistent athletes are putting on the miles in order to compete. Sophomore Delea Martins from Shorewood who has competed for the Milwaukee Mustangs Track Club has competed twice in the last two months at the Virginia Beach Sports Center. She posted a 58.88 in the 400m in December of 2020 and then performed well in the 300, 500m and 400m [57.26] events in January. Tosa East athletes Jetta and Maia Mays from the Wings of Glory Track Club competed in Texas in December of 2020. January 16, UW-Wisconsin Throw Athlete Sets Big 10 Record
Baraboo's Josie Schaefer Sets Record Badger Throw athlete Josie Schaefer broke the Big Ten Record in the shot put by launching a throw of 59' 04.25 at the Badger Icebreaker indoor meet on January 16. Schaefer's throw broke the record of former Badger thrower Kelsey Card [58' 06.75, 2016]. Wisconsin Track Online covered Schaefer as a ninth grader at the Tom Mueller Open in 2014, the W/TFA Meet in 2016, her double win at the 2017 WIAA State Meet, and her eventual signing for the Badgers in 2017. January 1, Wisconsin Track Online D1 Preseason Preview
Seven Champions In 9 Events Return Dani Lanseth [D.C. Everest, SP, D], Chloe Larsen [Waunakee, 400], Amalia Malecek [Onalaska, 1600], Kora Malecek [Onalaska, 3200], Olivia Van Zeeland [Kaukauna, HJ] and Roisin Willis [SPASH, 800, 4x400] return to defend the D1 titles they won at the 2019 WIAA State Meet. Willis set the 800m record of 2:05.68 at the 2019 State Meet breaking Camille Davre's record of 2:09.22 set in 2009. In addition former D2 athlete Jaiah Hopf from Wisconsin Lutheran who was a Gold Medal winner in the LJ and TJ is now in the D1 tournament series. Each of the preview sections will have a looking back section showing the champions from 5, 10, and 15 years ago. Go to D1 Preview. |

January 1, Wisconsin Track Online D2 Preseason Preview.
Only One Individual Champion Returns LJ and TJ 2019 D2 Champion Jaiah Hopf from Wisconsin Lutheran is now a D1 athlete. However Clinton's Sylvia Johansen returns to defend her title in the 100m dash event. She posted an 11.95 at the 2019 State Meet to break the Maddy Pietz record of 11.98 set in 2018. Also, the Osceola 4x800 Gold Medal winning relay will return Alli Fogelberg and Lauren Ellefson from their 2019 Champion 4x800m relay team. The D2 tournament series will see many new champions as a majority of the 2019 State Champions have graduated. The 'X' factor will be the 9th and 10th grade athletes who will make their 2021 appearance. Go to D2 Preview. |

Four Champions In Six Events Return Jessica Brueggeman who set two D3 State Records [Royall, LJ, TJ], Miranda Firari [Dodgeland, PV], Kayci Martensen [Benton / Scales Mound / Shullsburg, 1600, 3200], and Delany McFadden [Ozaukee, 200] return to defend their 2019 D3 WIAA State Meet Championships. Brueggeman set records in 2019 breaking the 2009 Aileen Lemanski [Florence] LJ record of 18' 06.50 with a distance of 18' 08.25 and the 2011 Bria Halama [Independence/Gilmanton] TJ record of 38' 03 with a distance of 38' 09.75. Although new dash and field athletes in 9th and 10th grade are unknown a link to emerging 9th and 10th grade distance runners will be given in the RUN feature. Go to D3 Preview. |

January 1, Wisconsin Track Online Wheel Chair Preseason Preview
Gabi Berthiaume Returns In WC Events Senior Gabi Berthiaume from Racine Horlick returns in the wheel chair events to defend the titles she won at the 2019 WIAA State Meet. Catholic Central's Lauren Reesman holds the SP record of 15' 03.50 set in 2016, while Melanie Watson from Oconomowoc holds the 100m [2012], 800m [2011], and 1600m [2012] records and Fort Atkinson's Dani Ebben holds the 400m record which she set in 2013.
